Returns Policy

 


Don’t worry about making a return, at Bonds Jewellers we know that the real thing may not meet your expectations or perhaps you have ordered the wrong size or the item may be faulty. Whatever the reason may be for you want to return your item we have worked hard to make sure that returning your purchase is as easy.

By law you have a 7 day ‘cooling off period’ if you want to return anything but we want you to be entirely happy so have extended this period to 14 days from the date of dispatch for you return your goods.

Christmas returns.. we always allow an extended period for returns over the Christmas period, this will be extended until 16th January 2016

We can’t accept returns for earrings for pierced ears, sale stock, promotional items or anything on the site that is marked ‘Special Order’, or if the item is not in its original condition – this applies both to the item and the original presentation box. The exception to this is goods that you received that were faulty, in this case our experts will examine the items before agreeing that it is faulty.

Your options when returning items are generally a full refund, a credit note or an exchange. Refunds will only be given by the same method as the original purchase.

We cannot be held responsible for items that are returned so please keep your proof of postage. We suggest you use some form of recorded delivery if posting.

Returning an Item

There are two ways to return items to us.

Method 1 – At our shop
The quickest way is to bring any unwanted items to our Northampton shop.

What you need to do:
Place the items in their original presentation boxes. Bring the items and invoice you received with your order to our shop. If the items are in their original condition we will process the refund, issue a credit note or exchange them for you. If you can’t find the invoice then you can re-print it from your confirmation email.

If the items were a gift to you then you will reimbursed with gift cards.

Method 2 – By post

What you need to do:
please return a copy of the invoice and place this and the goods into a post bag, we suggest that you keep the one we sent you and use that.

Drop us an email with the reference number on it and why you are returning it so that we can look out for it.

We strongly recommend sending the items by some form of recorded delivery but if you decide not to then don’t forget to put the return postage on the front of the post bag.

If you can’t find your invoice then you can re-print it from your confirmation email.

Tell us whether you would like us to either refund, credit you or exchange. If you would like an exchange tell us what you would like as an alternative.

From receipt of your parcel we will process your returns as quickly as possible and usually within 48 hours. At busy periods of the year ( Valentines, Easter & Christmas period) please allow up to 7 working days for your return to be processed.

When returning an item we are only able to accept items in their original condition. We can only accept an item for exchange or refund if it can be sold in new condition. The exception to this is goods that you received were faulty, in this case our experts will examine the items before agreeing that it is faulty.
